The zirconium crown on the implant is a construction made of a solid block of milled zirconium on a Straumann® Variobase® titanium abutment. It has a hole on the chewing surface of the tooth, through which the crown is fixed on the implant with a special screw. After fixing the hole is closed with photopolymer material.
