The main type of X-ray examination for diagnosis and planning of complex dental treatment.
The scanning process takes a few seconds with minimal radiation exposure for the patient, after which, a three-dimensional projection displays an image ranging in size from Ø5x5.5cm to Ø7x13cm, which allows to explore the entire maxillofacial area to each square millimeter.
The examination is performed on a modern tomograph Axeos, Dentsply Sirona.
